Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is a film director. Apart from her beautiful appearance, her steady success in the film industry proves her skills as an actor. Modeling began in the 1970s. Soon, she became one of the most sought-after models. Following her studies in acting Russo embarked on a modeling career in Los Angeles. Russo was first seen on screen in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character of Eden Kendell. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is a successful athlete. She started her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Because of her success in and outside the Octagon, Namajunas is a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas, a Lithuanian-immigrant, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as she grew up. She made her debut professionally when she was 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she won two matches by submission. This caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to join the UFC s strawweight division at the age of 22 years old. Rose has had extremes and lows throughout her professional career. However, she's always come out the winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. She was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion and was also named the Fighter of The Night. This was the first time that a female was able to fight a big promotion for a championship. Namajunas was able to win several other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
