Bellamy Young

Young was a performer when she began her career through theatre. She made her Broadway debut in 1997, playing Mary who was the very first actress in the musical The Life. She appeared Off Broadway for Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Let's Roll (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). She made her debut on television in 1995 with a recurring part as the character Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap show Another World. In addition, she guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two different role. In film, she made her debut in 1999. Her debut film was the role of a minor character in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in numerous independent films. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began appearing in guest-starring characters on several comedy and drama shows on television, such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young was a part of more than 30 television shows from 2000 and 2011. Young was one of the regular actors on Peacemakers the USA Network television series that aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the program ended after a single season. Her recurring role was in the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC the period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on the NBC soap opera Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 in the role of Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), as well as on the ABC Primetime soap drama Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. She also had a recurring character on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons from 2011 to 2013 Bellamy Bellamy Bellamy
