Alex Flanagan

She attended The University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School located in Tucson, Arizona. Flanagan has been employed by The NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. On NBC Sports she is a reporter in the stands of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan can be heard and seen in the popular video game Madden 10 and Madden 11 in which she hosts a recap of the game's games with Fran Charles. Alex comes from Sonoita in Arizona. She is married to former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple has two daughters as well as a son. Alex's family owns the Arizona steak restaurants "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita), and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career with KVOA-TV while a college student as a anchoring news. In 1998 she started covering sports. She was a reporter and anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. In addition, she was part of the Gamma Phi Beta sister. When she graduated Flanagan was offered her first television job. She was general assignment anchor and reporter at the weekend on KCCO-TV situated in Alexandria, Minnesota.
